Fill out the audition form below for A Tale of Two Cities.

Audition Tips

• Know the details. Fill out the form and sign up for an audition day (April 30 or May 2). Arrive early to check in calmly.

• Prepare 2 contrasting songs (≈16 bars each). Choose musical theatre songs similar to Les Mis, Scarlet Pimpernel, or Hunchback. These songs have a similar style and theme to the songs we will sing in A Tale of Two Cities.

• Bring your music ready. Have a Bluetooth speaker or device with your tracks queued up. We want to avoid delays!

• Optional monologue (30–60 sec). If desired, prepare a short, clear, and character-driven monologue.

• Practice storytelling. This is a dramatic show—focus on emotion, not just singing!

• Rehearse transitions. Know exactly how you’ll start/stop each piece confidently.

• Be available for callbacks (May 2 or 9). Directors want to see how well you take direction.

• Be honest on your form. List conflicts clearly. See below for rehearsal and show details so you can let us know what you can commit to.

  • Rehearsals will be Tuesday-Thursday from 2-5 PM at Radiant Dance in the Provo Towne Center mall.

  • Tech Rehearsals will be held July 21-23.

  • Shows will run from July 23-July 28.

  • The Program Fee will be $315 paid in three monthly installments.
