Audition Tips

• Know the details
  Fill out the form and choose May 1 or May 4. Auditions are at the BYU Wilkinson Center (room 5519). Arrive early and watch for the directions email.

• Prepare ~32 bars (45–60 seconds) of a song
  Choose a fun, upbeat musical theatre song that shows personality and strong character energy.

• Be ready to dance
  You’ll learn choreography at auditions—come in clothes/shoes you can move in comfortably.

• Bring your music ready
  Have a Bluetooth speaker or device with your track queued up to avoid delays.

• Show personality and humor
  Something Rotten Jr. is comedic—big expressions, clear choices, and confidence go a long way!

• Practice quick learning
  Directors will be watching how you pick up choreography and take direction.

• Rehearse a confident start/finish
  Know exactly how you’ll begin and end your song.

• Be available for callbacks (May 9)
  Held at Radiant Dance Studio (Provo Mall); time will be announced.

• Be honest on your form
  List all conflicts clearly based on the schedule below.

• Review the commitment
  Rehearsals start May 16 (Tues/Thurs 4–7 PM, Saturdays 1–4 PM).
  Tech + shows run July 20–28.

• Have a great attitude
  Be kind, energetic, and ready to have fun!
